Wabeno Area Players Present Scholarship Fundraiser for Area Students
“Songs Under the Mistletoe”
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 15-18, Wabeno Area Players will be presenting “Songs Under the Mistletoe.” It will be held in the beautiful atmosphere of The Big Easel. The meal will include a Savory French Dip, au Jus, a salad brimming with fruit and nuts….and Dessert. This annual event will include a mix of traditional, contemporary and classical music selections of the holiday season and also promises visits from a few special guests. It will be an evening of warmth and good cheer!
Donations from each performance will go to the Erna Rousseau Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is in the memory of Erna Rousseau, a lifelong piano teacher and accompanist from Wabeno. It’s awarded annually to a student from the area schools. The scholarship is awarded to students who have been involved in the arts in high school and plan on pursuing a college degree in education, art, music, dance, or theater. Scholarships are now being awarded to current high school student to attend summer camps.
A Holiday Dinner served from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., show at 7:00 p.m the evenings of the 15th-17th. A Holiday Brunch will be served from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m on the 18th. All performances are held at The Big Easel in Wabeno located at 1784 Maple Ave. Space is limited to 40 guests each night please call (715) 889-1179 to reserve seating.
